I. Usage Instructions
1. Opening & Storage
- Seal the filament immediately after opening.
- Store in a sealed bag with desiccant when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid high temperature and high humidity environments.
Moisture may cause:
- Increased stringing
- Unstable extrusion
- Surface bubbles
- Rough surface finish
- Poor layer adhesion
2. Pre-print Check
- Confirm nozzle is clear with no clogs.
- Keep the print platform clean.
- Select print parameters based on material type.
- Run a first-layer test before starting the full print.
3. Platform Adhesion Tips
| Platform Type | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| PEI Steel Sheet | Usually no adhesive needed; apply glue if necessary |
| Glass Bed | Recommended to use solid glue for better adhesion |
| Other Platforms | Adjust based on actual print results |
4. Common Issue Troubleshooting
| Issue | Suggested Fix |
|---|---|
| Stringing | Lower nozzle temp; increase retraction |
| Clogging | Check for moisture; reduce print speed |
| Warping | Increase bed temp; improve enclosure |
| Rough surface | Check drying status and temperature |
| Poor layer bonding | Increase nozzle temperature |
TPU Usage Parameters
| Nozzle Temp | 230-250°C; Optimal: 230°C |
|---|---|
| Bed Temp | Open: 60°C; Enclosed: 45-60°C |
| Recommended Bed | PEI bed |
| Adhesive | Solid glue, spray adhesive |
| Best For | Flexible parts, anti-slip parts, cushioning parts, protective cases |
| Storage | Avoid high temp/humidity; seal with desiccant |
| Drying | Dry at 50°C for 6-8 hrs; do not use high-temp oven directly |
Notes:
- TPU is a flexible material; reduce print speed to avoid filament slippage.
- Remote extrusion printers are more challenging; prioritize using direct drive extruders.
- Ensure a smooth filament path; minimize bends and resistance.
